Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac/Ducati) was third and trailing the top two riders, but even on the first lap some cameras showed raindrops - which could justify a change of bikes. Also involved was Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM), who rode onwards in an incident which remained under investigation - the south african was eventually penalised with a Long Lap. Alex Marquez (Gresini/Ducati) didn't start well from third and not only lost positions but also crashed at turn one at Mugello. ![]() Miguel Oliveira finished 12th.Ī good start from pole position for Bagnaia (Ducati), who kept the lead ahead of Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda). The championship leader was in the lead for much of saturday's race at Mugello, in which the Ducati bikes had a clear advantage. Francesco Bagnaia was the winner of the MotoGP Italian GP sprint race. ![]()
